Blossoming tops

I am going to begin with a confession. I'm having the anguish of the white page, ce moment que je redoute le plus. La fatigue envahit le train de mes penses and la routine sucks the fun out of my life. School has been extremely demanding and tiring I hope you guys forgive me for spazzing out and also for the infrequent posting. I can assure you that, by summer, I will be doing more than this.
Technically, this weekend I witnessed no change in routine or whatsoever. The sky is still gray and the horizon blurry. I think I am starting to fantasize about graduation and the break out of my routines and my AUB acceptance letter, it's been ages I'm waiting for it!!!
Apparently this Sunday, like it is supposed to be on a warm spring day, flowers were blossoming all over our tops for my sister and I. With her permission I get to feature her too.

moi : Versace fleurie jacket, pink Lancel bag
nella a.k.a sister : Zara fleurie chemie, Marc by Marc Jacobs snakeskin bag

Both outfits are worn over jeans which is pretty comfy for a delaaayed grasse matinee. With ma petite family, I tried out the new Sultan Brahim restaurant in maameltein; it has got an amazing view of Jounieh bay and the food is still delicately tasty.
Ainsi donc, it's not until I came back that i got to catch up on my sleep before la family heads back to BUMC (Toyota-Lexus) Zalka for a fashion show.
Imagine a catwalk with international models -humm deliberately coming from just a couple of European countries, if you see what I mean- sporting evening dresses by a certain Lebanese designer... Sana something. You'll excuse my short memory (if you don't mind). I predict that the only way to eradicate ce courrant de top c'est russian roulette. I couldn't have put it in better words myself. Mean thought.

At BUMC Zalka.

La crainte du the petit ventre. Pas grave c'est par defaut d'etre gourmande, (trying to convince myself). It will disappear at once when i meet my prince charmant. Till now no sucking up for basic dudes.

Pain Perdu or The Quickie French Délice.

Once upon a time, I opened the fridge and it was empty.
Is this situation any familiar to you? You take a look right and left, you check all the cupboards and still nothing. No chocolate bars or cakes, no nuts or chips.
But there it comes, the savior. A slim sun kissed tanned  french délice.
About that, don't get all dreamy already! Get up and start preparing the ingredients.

For One Greedy Person you need:
25cl Milk
1 Egg
25g Sugar
1 tsp of vanilla aroma
A slim slice of Butter
3 slices of sweet bun or any type of stale bread.
Icing sugar

La preparation:

1- Mix sugar and milk together and serve it in a dish soup.
Do the same for the eggs and vanilla aroma seperately.
2- Soak the bread slices in both preparations.

3- Melt a slice of butter on a non-stick frying pan.
4-Remove gently the bread slices to avoid it breaking loose and lay them on the sizzling butter.

5- After a few minutes, turn every bread slice to its other side and make sure both sides to be glazed.
6- Finally, Sprinkle les pains with icing sugar abundantly.

Not only did this recipe take me about 5 minutes to cook but it has also become extremely accessible in view of its basic ingredients.
I strongly recommend you to try out this perfect delight.

Yours truly, THE Pretty Capricieuse.

Lunch at teta

Fun is on air this holidays, you know. And it is the same the time I went to have lunch at Teta with family (Teta, which means Granma in arabic).
True, Holidays isn't just about hanging out with friends during the day and again at night; it's also about making time for the members of your family you hardly see mostly because of routine intrusion.
That day, I wore the big fat Marni jacket again. Evidently, I don't seem to get bored of it.
This once I wore it with Levis' vintage denim shorts and a lace white shirt with my white chuck taylors.

That same day I went shopping with mom to Beirut Souks, it's where all of the stores are concentrated from fast fashion to Haute couture.

Pretty Capricieuse major found: Heel detailing at Uterque.

It is worthy to note the inspired architectural structure of its overall combination along with its added sensuality. All of which brings out the best out of its creation.
Personally I wouldn't buy the shoes but I will for sure think it through and integrate that detailing into one of my designs.

About Punctuality

For years and years and years -no I'm not thaat old- I've been told to be punctual. To be or not to be, that is the question. Well Shakespeare -and I- was often tempted by ses envies rather than what was really his cue. And like all true hedonist I believe that pleasure is the highest good. On the other hand, Time management is critical to one's subjectivity and mood trends.
Are you getting to my point? This is passing as an excuse for being late. Faute de leçon à prendre!

About starting over.

Et maintenant une page de publicite,

Ici, I am wearing an American Eagle jegging, Sisley sequined top, Mango tissage jacket, Juicy Couture leather bag and Camilla Skovgaard suede pumps.

P.S. Please guys comment on my post, I have to know your feedback.

Endlessly yours, THE Pretty Capricieuse.

Cheers to the freakin weekend

It's still Tuesday and I'm really looking forward to the holidays. C'est décidé demain je prends mes vacances. I can't stand being in school ANYMORE. Life is too short to go to school anyway. No kidding. I guess later on in life I'll be excited too much about just anything because school is THAT annoying. Holding a grudge, are we? Yes, I hate routine and I always need to be motivated. What's behind my determination to work so hard this year? My crave to graduate, explore my options and follow my dreams.

Right, so that Saturday I went to "Global village", a Model for United Nations competition run in all schools hosted and organized by the Lebanese American University. Long "explanation" short, Global village sort of comprises typical information booths from most of the countries in the world that are represented each by a school -here in Lebanon of course.
Interested any more? check the video for: What GC LAU MUN is all about (I doubt u will)

Here je suis wearing destroyed denim pants by Abercrombie &Fitch, a blue neon silk blouse by Zara, Jimmy choo for H&M leather jacket, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag and a Vintage necklace.

Party Crowd

Hey guys i miss u all! Here I am listening to Fergie's Glamorous and trying to focus on that last chapter of physics for tomorrow's exam. This weekend of mine was pretty chargé!
To start off, I went clubbing to Palais Maillot again Friday. People were arriving late but as time passed, the club started to breath again -heavily. Then the music began to kick off and the crowd to party along with the never-ending beats of a duel, arranged between the most reputed Djs in town. It was quite a night.

The look: sporting a black mini cut out dress by H&M, Camilla Skovgaard heels (not shown here), Swarovski bracelets and a Tiffany &co silver necklace.

There is more coming up, keep tuning
