The Maison Martin Margiela for H&M Feedback

Pardon me, I know I’m several days late. The coming Wednesday I have an important math quiz and I haven’t started studying for it yet. I presume it is more benefitting for me if I share with you some stories. I am really hating myself now for not being up to your level of posting expectations.

My mom as usual goes viral on designer collaborations with H&M; she bought a bunch of items from Maison Martin Margiela’s collection but here I am only going to tell you about my top of the list. Personally, my best pick of Margiela for H&M collection is the Adjusted Biker Jacket, not only is it made of real thick leather and perfectly fits me but it also has a destructive look and that’s the thing I like the most about it.

Next comes the plexi heel black pumps, they are amazing yes, but they are a paaiin in the—toes. First time I actually wore them was on Saturday night when I went clubbing, I told everyone I wished women were born without toes. I could wear allll the pair of shoes I want. They looked at me in shock but I was serious.

In addition to that, Mom got me the high top white sneakers, but when I tried them on at home, I felt that they weren’t for me, full stop. Moreover, I even think that they were for men. See the label on the box? A 40 in US is 9 for women but 7 for men. I don’t regret having them returned.

Last on my list are the oversized denim pants. They were the bestselling item here in Lebanon and I really like them. The issue was how to wear them; the best alternative I could come up with is a crop top or a crop knit/sweater for this season. Perhaps, I could also pair it with a black leather jacket some heels and give it out some edge. Earlier, I was very sure to have them returned at H&Ms but at the register, I cracked up. My mom would ask me over and over again “do you want them?” “I mean rationally I  don’t need them…I’m not sure if I’m going to wear them… but…” My mom would tell me “keep them” But I didn’t want to keep them at the back of my closet, what’s the use? Then the salesman said “you know… they were the first item that sold off” My mom wanted to put an end to my indecision so she said “we’ll keep them” and good for us she didn’t take notice of my opinion, I was so relieved at the end.
