Chocolate and Date (Tamer) Cheesecake




For the occasion of Ramadan and Eid el Fitr, I prepared a very special recipe for my cooking showon YouTube inspired from occidental cuisine with a touch of oriental taste. I combined into a cheesecake chocolate and date (in Arabic “tamer”)—a surprising yet a perfectly blended flavor sensation that has paid particular attention and praise on the YouTube comment box!

Also, Dates are great for: weight loss, relieving constipation, promoting heart health, reducing heart disease risk, diarrhea, Iron-deficiency anemia, reducing blood pressure, and pregnancy deliveries. (Credit: Natural society)
 

So, TRY IT!!

For 4 servings you will need,

Ingredients:
Filling
200g or a small box of Philadelphia light
20 Cl of whipping cream
4 tbsp of semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp of Agave syrup or ater
2 sachet of  vanilla sugar
Tamer and chocolate paste
100g of tamer
1 tbsp of cocoa
1 tsp of vanilla
4 tbsp of whipping cream
Crust
100g of Digestive Biscuit (I used Mcvities Light version)
30g of butter
1 tbsp of Agave or ater

Preparation:
Mix all the ingredients of the filling except for the chocolate chips.
Mix all the ingredients of the tamer.
Mix all the ingredients of the crust.

Setting:
  1. In one cup add the following in the respective order and quantity:1 tbsp of crust, 2 tbsp of tamer, 1 ½ tbsp of crust, and 3 tbsp of filling.
  2. Sprinkle the top with one tbsp of chocolate chips.
