Easter 2015

Easter was much anticipated this year because of the stricter fast I decided to go for. For the first time in my entire life, I abstained on meat during all 40 days of lent. I usually ate meat except for Wednesdays and Fridays during the fast. But I could drink milk and eat fish and eggs. Sadly enough, I did not make the most out of my sushi meal potential but went for sushi only twice during that period.
This year, I also fasted on French Fries and ketchup, which have become easier to abstain from following the past two years' ritual. I don't know how easy it sounds but it meant no burgers, no Pizza, no junk or heavy food for some time. It's okay because I have actually lost weight again after NYC, to the point where some pants are being less filled in. To tell by how much I have lost weight is difficult. I haven't checked exactly on the balance because I think that numbers are not important and people's morphology and bones are way different to be able to compare; it's all about feeling good with your body and being comfortable in your clothes. I am very satisfied with this surprising result from the lent and I haven't actually thought about this possible result to take my decision!
After going to church, my family and I  went to Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel for the richest and most wonderfully diverse lunch buffet ever. There was everyhing from Lebanese food to Sushi and Spanish Paella and Pasta and Indian food and just really anything. There was too many salads to count and huge hot platters (I have tried them all). The dessert was also a buffet and there was ice cream and Lebanese sweets besides all the pastries. My stockings were ckoking me and I felt pregnant from all the food I ate.
But well, this is kind of scary, I am not actually going to eat like that every day. In fact, I decided to cut down on meat and the love of my life, french fries.
We then went for a walk and a Pinkberry at Zeytuna Bay (ran into lots of friends from college); the weather was amazing, the sun was shining with a cool breeze.

I was wearing a blue pastel guipure dress from BCBG Max Azria (SS15 collection), Sandro nude perfecto leather jacket, Mac Jacobs pink nude bag, and Repetto flats.
